Winner of the Pasteur Network Talent Award

On September 21, 2017, during the 49th annual meeting of directors of the Institut Pasteur International Network, the first Pasteur Network Talent Award ceremony was held. This is a prize that aims to recognize and support the professional development of researchers with high potential within the Network.

The prize supports:

Mobility
• Publication and conference fees
• Specific trainings
• PhD and/or post doc recruitment/support
• Scholarships to take courses in the Institut Pasteur International Network (including Paris)

We are happy and proud to announce that PhD. Felipe Trajtenberg has been one of the winners of the prize.

Trajtenberg works at the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo since its inauguration in 2006 at the Laboratory of Molecular and Structural Microbiology – Crystallography Unit led by Dr. Buschiazzo. In this lab, Trajtenberg did his PhD in Biochemistry (PEDECIBA – Faculty of Sciences, Udelar) and previously realized studies of bachelor’s and master’s degree in Biochemistry in Faculty of Sciences and Faculty of Medicine (Udelar), respectively.
