The Institut Pasteur International Network (IPIN) opened a call to support up to three (3) new G4 (4 years group) for young leaders who will be hosted in one of the Pasteur institutes of the network and will receive up to 400 thousand euros. The characteristics of the call are detailed in this document.

Institut Pasteur de Montevideo encourages researchers from the institute and the national and international academic community who wish to apply and install the G4 group in Montevideo, to send their applications.

From the projects received, the IP Montevideo will select one project to support with a Cover letter from the Director in order to present them to the IPIN call.

To apply, we request to complete the IP Montevideo form, attaching the IPIN form and the documents requested in that form, except the Cover letter from the Executive Director of IP Montevideo.

As indicated in the text, applicants, nominated by their future host institutes, must propose an innovative research project, in line with the scientific strategy of the IPIN and, more specifically, to the identified host institute and its local and regional environment. Research must be within Pasteur’s remit but applications on the priority subject of “Antimicrobial Resistance” are encouraged, in particular those at the interface of public health, microbiology, and fundamental research.

NOTE – Take into account the scientific priorities of the IPIN and IP Montevideo’s Strategic Plan.
