As part of the Young Science program (“Ciencia Joven”) promoted by National Administration of Public Education (ANEP) and the Basic Science Development National Program (Pedeciba), on Friday, November 30, 2018, the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo welcomed the visit of high school students.

Guided by researchers Virginia López and Williams Porcal, during four hours, Aldana Palacio (from “Mario Benedetti” high school in Montevideo); Débora Olivera (N°2 high school of Barros Blancos, Canelones); Iara Martínez (Empalme Olmos high school, Canelones) and Lía Pallero, from Canelones high school, toured the institute, talked with researchers about their work and did practical activities in the laboratory.
