The Apicomplexan Biology Laboratory<\/strong><\/a> of the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo calls a student to do his\/her degree thesis with a workload of 10 hours per week.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n We orient the search to people who have passed their third year of Biology, Biochemistry, Human Biology and related degrees interested in completing their thesis, who have an interest in cell biology, biochemistry and bioinformatics.<\/p>\n Since this is a training opportunity, no experience is necessary.<\/p>\n The degree thesis will be carried out within the framework of the project Genomic and functional analysis of mitochondria in Apicomplexa: Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora caninum as models for the study of non-traditional mitochondrial lineages.<\/em><\/p>\n The selected person will develop activities that include cell culture techniques, subcellular fractionation, DNA sequencing and sequence analysis.<\/p>\n The duration of the internship will be for 12 months.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n We invite interested people to apply through this link<\/strong><\/a> and attach the following documents in pdf format:<\/p>\n a) Motivation letter.<\/p>\n b) Scholarship.<\/p>\n c) CV.<\/p>\nTraining accomplished<\/h3>\n
