The Virus-Cell Interactions Laboratory of the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo is calling for applications for postgraduate studies, 30 hours per week, within the framework of a grant from the Comisión Académica de Posgrado (CAP).
Training accomplished
We are looking for professionals enrolled in a postgraduate course at Udelar (master or doctorate) in the areas of Microbiology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Genetics, Immunology, and related areas.
Experience
Experience in cell culture, molecular biology and immunodetection techniques, viral quantification and work with experimental animals will be considered as appropriate but not exclusive.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing his/her postgraduate thesis within the framework of a research project focused on the analysis of cellular proteins with modulatory activity on viral entry and inflammatory response.
Remuneration
CAP postgraduate scholarship.
Duration
The scholarship has a duration of two years for the master’s level and three years for the doctoral level.

- Have a budgeted or project position provided by open call at Udelar.
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate programme at Udelar.
- Submission to a CAP scholarship.
