The Apicomplexan Biology Laboratory of the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo calls a student to do his/her degree thesis with a workload of 10 hours per week.
Training accomplished
We orient the search to people who have passed their third year of Biology, Biochemistry, Human Biology and related degrees interested in completing their thesis, who have an interest in molecular biology, cell biology and microscopy.
Experience
Since this is a training opportunity, no experience is necessary.
Responsibilities
The degree theses will be carried out within the framework of the project Study of the mechanisms of reactivation of chronic infections by Apicomplexan parasites.
The selected person will develop activities that include molecular biology techniques applied to protozoan parasites, cell culture and microscopy.
Duration
The duration of the internship will be for 12 months.
