The Institut Pasteur de Montevideo seeks to incorporate two postdocs into its scientific staff, through an open call, to develop research lines framed in the current institutional scientific priorities (no prior link with the institute is necessary).
Training accomplished
Doctorate degree at the time of taking office and having obtained it no earlier than 2017. Although this is the profile sought, applications that do not strictly comply with these requirements will be accepted with a duly justification. In the case of maternity, one more year of seniority of the doctorate degree (2016) will be accepted for the birth of a child after the doctorate, and up to 2 more years (2015) in case of more than one child after the doctorate.
Duration
The position will have a duration of 2 years, possibly renewable for a single time, for a period of up to 18 months. In case of maternity during the hiring period, the terms will be extended for 9 months.
Reference salary
As of July 2022, the nominal salary of the postdoc position at IP Montevideo is $92,970 Uruguayan pesos.
