Call 17-22: Posdoc – Host-Pathogen Interactions Laboratory – IP Montevideo

The Host-Pathogen Interactions Laboratory of the Institut Pasteur of Montevideo calls for applications for the position of Postdoc, 40 hours per week, for a project funded by the Pasteur Institutes Network.

Training accomplished

We are looking for people with a completed PhD, with a background in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, murine models, and mitochondrial signalling is an asset but not exclusive.

Responsibilities

The selected person will work in the framework of the project Targeting mitochondrial membrane integrity in Chagas Disease. He will be responsible for the development of a model of chagasic heart disease, infectivity studies and mitochondrial responses. You must be available for a stay of 1 to 3 months in France.

The term of office will be two years, starting on 1 March 2023.
