Work history
- She worked in the company CONALAP S.A., dedicated to the administration and management of consumer and mortgage loans, as General Accountant. Among its main tasks were the issuance of balance sheets and their filing with the Central Bank of Uruguay, as well as the calculation, filing and payment of taxes, settlement and payment of salaries, customer management, among others. (1998 to 2006).
- She worked for the company GOL TRANSPORTES AÉREOS S.A., dedicated to the international air transport of passengers and cargo. Initially she was responsible for the financial activities in Uruguay and later she was Manager of international bases, in charge of the financial teams of the branches in Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Peru, Chile, Colombia and Bolivia. She participated in the creation of the new branches, structuring the teams, creating and implementing procedures, and managed the merger of GOL TRANSPORTES AÉREOS with VRG LINHAS AÉREAS, for which she previously had to conduct the audits of the financial statements of both firms in each country, until the recovery of tax credits, etc. (Year 2006 to 2012).
- She served as Administration and Finance Manager of the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo, collaborating with the Executive Director in the implementation and execution of administrative-financial and service activities required for the development of the scientific activity. Among her main functions is the preparation and control of the execution of the annual budget, she is responsible for the audit of financial statements and for the controls of public bodies to which the Institute is subject (TCR, MEC, AIN, OPP, MEF, SENACLAFT DGI). (Year 2012 to 2019).
- She is Director of Administration and Finance at the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo. She also assumed the role of compliance officer, due to the incorporation of the Institute among those obliged to carry out due diligence procedures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing activities. (Year 2019 to date).
- Under her supervision are the areas of Accounting and Budget, Human Resources, Projects, Purchasing and Finance and Administration, and she shares the leadership of the Innovation and Valorisation Unit together with the Executive Director.
