The event featured 48 posters and 15 oral presentations by young scientists working at the institute. Irene Ferreiro and Mauricio Castellano were awarded the prize for Best Oral Presentation. Meanwhile, Victoria Núñez-Barón, Saira Cancela, Jonathan Bastidas, Sofía Dacosta, Josefina Vera, Marcela Díaz, Florencia Fadel, Marco Li Calzi, María Victoria Gutiérrez, and Jessica Rossello received recognition for Best Poster Presentation.
The day also included a workshop aimed at strengthening science communication skills, led by the institute’s Communications Unit, and concluded with a science-themed monologue performance by the artistic group Bardo Científico.
